Durability of a prosthesis

The lifespan of the hairpiece is the time you’ll be able to keep your prosthesis. It’ll vary depending on the model you pick and your daily habits (sports, washing every day, and so on...).

The thinner the base is, the shorter the lifespan will be.

• ULTRA HD standard: the lifespan is between 1 and 2 months.

• ULTRA HD plus: 3 to 4 months.

• SMART HD: 2 to 3 months.

• TOTAL HD: 4 to 6 months.

• D-PRO: 4 to 6 months.

• U-PRO: 4 to 6 months.

• O-PRO: 4 to 6 months.

• MICRO HD standard: 3 to 5 months.

• MICRO HD plus: 4 to 6 months.

We’ve seen lots of users keep the standard Ultra HD model for 3 to 4 months, and the Micro HD Plus model for almost a year. But durability isn’t guaranteed—this really depends on each user.
