To start your customization, you need to select the hair system model.
Ultra HD standard: 0.03mm polyurethane membrane.
Ultra HD Plus: 0.05mm polyurethane membrane.
Micro HD standard: 0.07mm polyurethane membrane.
Micro HD Plus: 0.09mm polyurethane membrane.
Total HD: fully lace base (Swiss or French).
U-Pro: tulle base with a thin polyurethane strip at the back.
D-Pro: mainly polyurethane base with a tulle front edge.
O-Pro: tulle base in the center and polyurethane around the perimeter.
French lace is slightly rougher than Swiss lace. Swiss lace is the most popular for its softness and finesse. The difference between the two types of tulle is very small, almost invisible to the naked eye.
The choice of tulle type is only available for the Total HD, U-Pro, D-Pro and O-Pro models.
This option allows for a more natural implantation for lace bases. Our bleaching is 2/3 which is considered "correct" in order to avoid weakening the attachment point in the base.
Knot bleaching is only available for the Total HD and U-Pro models.
With the U-Pro model, you can choose the size of the polyurethane in its width. The default option is 6 cm in the center and 5 cm on the sides, however if you decide to cut the base to your size, this polyurethane strip may no longer be sufficiently present.
For the O-Pro model, you need to set the size of the polyurethane perimeter. This size will be the same for the entire perimeter of the hair system, including the front hairline.
The minimum length is 15 centimeters. However, you can choose a longer length (20cm, 25cm, 30cm). For a length over 30cm, a quote will be drawn up based on the production cost and will be sent to you after your order has been confirmed. Prices change several times a year due to certain factors, so it's possible that the price may vary depending on your orders.
I’m sending a hair strand : This option lets you place an order and send your strand so the technician can determine your shade. Please check this article about sending your hair strand.
Shade based on the strand sent : If you’ve already placed a custom order, you can select this option. The technicians will take your previous strand into account for your new piece.
Custom creation : This option is useful if your shade isn’t offered in our color chart. Our team will then have to create your color specifically for you. This option will be charged for your first piece. The shade will be saved and can be used again for your future orders.
Darkroot : By choosing this color option, you’re going for a gradient of 2 shades. For example, dark roots (#1B) and light lengths (#613). You can choose the root size, for example for a hair length of 15 cm = approximately 3 cm of roots and 12 cm of lengths.
Other color : This option is generally useful for professionals. We won’t accept colorimetry notes (dark brown, chestnut, blonde) or (mix of blonde and chestnut) or (light and dark highlights). We offer shades with lots of different nuances that aren’t part of standard colorimetry, so these notes will be unclear for our technicians.
No white hair : This means you don’t want to add any white to your original color.
Synthetic fiber : Choosing synthetic fiber means you won’t need to use anti-yellowing care. White hair can tend to yellow over time. With synthetic fiber, the color will stay the same for the whole period you use your hair system.
Natural : Above 50% white hair, we strongly recommend going for natural (white) hair, because the texture might be less pleasant otherwise.
Our synthetic fiber is not “synthetic hair”, it’s a high-quality fiber that can be heated to 180°C and washed like natural hair.
It’s important to choose the density of your hair system carefully, because if it’s too high it can look unnatural. Densities from 50% are considered very light, 80% is light, and 100% is a light/normal density.
Densities above 130% are not really recommended for men because they are very thick and therefore more suitable for women. Learn more about density
For the standard Ultra HD model, the proposed density option does not exceed 100% due to the thickness of the membrane, which cannot support too much weight.
You can choose the implantation style to create your favorite movement.
Freestyle: This implantation style is the most popular because it allows all possible hairstyles. You can create a styled/unstyled effect, lift the hair completely upwards, but also create a parting in the middle or on the side. We usually recommend this implantation style.
Backwards: As the name suggests, this style allows for a backwards implantation, perfect if you only want to wear your hair brushed back. It’s better to go for freestyle if you sometimes slick your hair down over your forehead.
You can choose different contour shapes so you get a result close to your original front hairline.
We offer several different wave patterns, from "straight" to "afro". This lets you choose the wave that suits you best. It’s also possible to recreate the look you want based on a photo. If your hair is naturally straight, we recommend picking a very lightly waved texture, which will look more natural than completely straight hair. Learn more about the wave patterns
Less than or equal to 20 x 25cm : If the size of your prosthesis is a maximum of 20 x 25cm (20 being the width and 25 being the length), this option must be selected. You can still customize your size, for example 15 x 20cm or 22 x 23cm.
Greater than 20 x 25cm : Beyond the size 20 x 25cm, we consider it to be a full hair replacement. The making will only be done using a mold in order to reproduce the shape of your skull.
Standard size: It’s 20 x 25cm (width x length) and generally fits all our users. A trimming will need to be done before fitting.
Made using a new impression: This option lets you send us your new impression so our technicians can make the mold for your prosthesis. Using an impression will be essential if your measurements are larger than the standard size (20 x 25cm). Learn more about the impression
The cost of the new impression will only be charged when the new piece is made. For your future orders, you’ll be able to choose the option "BYSIX already has the impression".
BYSIX already has the impression: If you’ve already placed a previous order with an impression, this option will be useful and will save you from paying the creation costs for a new impression.
When you select this option, a dedicated field appears so you can add the number of the previous order for which this same impression was used.
I know my measurements: For this option, it’s important to know your length and width measurements perfectly. Manufacturing will be based on these measurements and the size can’t be changed once production has started. So it’s important to pay close attention if you choose this option.

When confirming your custom order, you can choose your production time. The standard option (10 to 14 weeks) is selected by default, but you can choose Express manufacturing, which will add an extra cost to your order. With the Express option, your piece will be made within 4 to 6 weeks.
The "Add a comment" box lets you add a specific request for your custom-made piece. Depending on your requests, our team may contact you to adjust your piece or the price of your hair prosthesis.
Keep in mind that the instructions written in this comment field might not be followed. We mainly rely on the initial form for your custom-made piece.
Adding a photo lets you provide more details on your order form. You can use this space to add a visual of the desired curl pattern, or of the overall style you want to achieve.
You can choose to remove the extra material from the front edge.
The excess polyurethane is useful if you want to define yourself where the hairline starts on the front line. By default, the extra frontal material is present. If you tick the box, this excess edge will be removed.
This option is only available for models that have polyurethane on the front hairline. Lace bases are not eligible for removal of the extra frontal material.
