Temporary holds are exclusively managed by PayPal. BYSIX is not responsible for these verifications. Here are the most common situations:
Some of our customers choose to pay via a payment authorization, often used for subscriptions or recurring payments.
👉 In this case, PayPal performs a security check before confirming the payment, which can take several days.
PayPal may also temporarily block a payment for:
Unusual transactions (high amount, different location, etc.)
Newly created or unverified accounts
Bank payment methods with processing delay (e.g. e-check)
Verification can take between 1 and 10 business days depending on the payment type and level of verification required by PayPal.
During this period:
The payment remains in "pending" status
No shipment is made by BYSIX until the payment is validated and confirmed
As soon as PayPal confirms the payment:
You will receive an email confirmation
We will proceed with shipping your order within the usual timeframe
✅ What you need to know:
The block is coming from PayPal, not BYSIX.
Shipping is done only after confirmation.
You can track the status directly in your PayPal account.
❌ What you don't need to do:
You don't need to contact us to unblock the payment.
We cannot speed up the verification on PayPal's side.
It is not possible to change the payment method once the order has been placed.
